Leaving the Capital and head to Antsirabe. On the way, short stops to enjoy the landscape: farm land, terracing rice fields, traditional Malagasy houses. Arrival at Antsirabe around noon. Lunch, then transfer to the hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight.

Drive to the small town of Betafo. Here, we live the car and start to walk. Three hours walk through this farmer village allows you to learn some histories and cultures. In the afternoon, drive to the two famous lakes of Antsirabe which are both crater lakes. Back to the hotel after the visit. Dinner and overnight

Day to link Antsirabe and Ranomafana. Lunch at the town of Ambositra. This town is also the capital of the woodcarvings of the country, and we can have a walk to visit the market after lunch. Continue the drive during the afternoon. Arrival in the evening, check in. Dinner and overnight

The whole morning is dedicated to explore Ranomafana National Park. The hike gives us an opportunity to see the beauty of the forest as well as some rare endemic lemurs such as: Milne Edward’s Sifaka, Golden bamboo lemurs. In the evening, evening walk to meet some more wildlife (mouse lemur, chameleons, and frogs, sleeping birds). Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Leave Ranomafana after breakfast and head to the South. We will pass by the city of Fianarantsoa known as the most religious city of Madagascar. Stop at Ambalavao to see some workshop (silk, paper making…). Lunch before being back on the road. The last part of the journey during the afternoon is on a dirt road. Check-in on arrival. Overnight

Meet the local guide after breakfast and start the hike. Today, we are going to climb the Chameleon Peak by passing through the sacred forest where we may have the chance to see some ring-tailed lemurs. Continue the ascent with some short stops on the way. Once on the top, we will have a stunning view of the valley and its farmland. Overnight at the lodge.

Leave Camp Catta in the morning to continue the journey to the South. Stop at the town of Ihosy for lunch. From there, about 2 hours drive to get to Ranohira. On arrival. Check-in. Overnight.

One full day to explore the beautiful sandstone mountain of Isalo National Park. During the walk, we will stop at the first natural swimming pool. Continue the walk to reach the great Canyon of Namaza, a chance to see some species of lemurs (Ring-tailed, Sifaka and brown lemurs). The blue and black pool are incredible too. Back to the hotel after the visit. Dinner and overnight.

Leaving Ranohira in the morning and head to Ifaty. Passing by the town of Ilakaka known for its deposit of gem stones. And driving thought the dry deciduous forest of Zombitse. Lunch at the town of Tulear, then one hour drive to Ifaty. Check-in at the hotel. Free afternoon on the seaside. Dinner and overnight

Morning excursion with local pirogue for snorkeling at a protected reserve, half an hour away from the beach of Ifaty. Enjoy beautiful view of the corals and colorful fishes. Lunch at the hotel. At the end of the afternoon, visit of the spiny to see the endemic vegetation of the South, some rare birds, insects… Dinner and overnight.

Transfer to the port of Tulear to take the speed boat to Anakao. Arrival around mid-day. Lunch and afternoon relax on the beach. Dinner and overnight.

At about 55 km South of Anakao, Tsimanampetsotsa Park is the only salted lake of Madagascar. During the dry season, we can observe flamingos and many other species of birds. Apart from that, in the surrounding of the lake, there are baobabs, viewpoints, caves. Drive back to the hotel after the visit. Dinner and overnight.

Get on board of a boat after breakfast and cross to the Island of Nosy Ve. There, we can see the red-tailed tropic birds nesting on the ground or flying around. Back to the lodge. Rest of the day free. Dinner and overnight.

Boat transfer to Tulear, then to the airport to take the flight back to Antananarivo. Meet the driver on arrival in the capital. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
