Full day drive to the town of Miandrivazo. Short breaks along the way to enjoy the landscape and have a short look at local farmers’ daily routines. Lunch at the town of Antsirabe before continuing the journey to the west through drier landscape, gold panners,.. Transfer to the hotel on arrival. Check-in, dinner and overnight.

Drive to the village of Masiakampy for about 1h 30mn. Upon arrival, get on the boat and start the cruise down the river. Lunch on the river bank.Reach the beautiful waterfall of Anosin’ampela where we can swim and take a bath before continuing on the river. Landing on the river bank late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight camping

Another day on the river. During the cruise, we will stop at some small villages to have a short walk and meet the local people. Passing through the Gorge of Bemaraha where you will enjoy the beautiful landscape and the stillness of nature that helps you to admire the beauty of the surrounding. Dinner and overnight on the river bank.

Last morning on the river. Arrival at Belo/ Tsiribihina. Lunch in the boat before meeting the car and the driver. Afternoon drive to the village of Bekopaka on dirt road. Along the journey, you will have local kids waving at you with big smile and yelling for candies. Check-in on arrival; diner and overnight at the hotel.

Day to hike into the Big Tsingy which is 17km from the village and you reach by car. Accompanied by your guide and equipped with harnesses, explore the Tsingy, high of 30 to 50 m. Walkways and wooden bridges, well integrated into the landscape, will help you to get through the area easily. Picnic lunch, then drive back. Dinner and overnight.

Leave the village of Bekopaka and drive to Kirindy. Stop at the town of Belo/ Tsiribihina for lunch. River crossing on a ferry before hitting the second part of the road. Arrival in the afternoon. Check-in. Meet the local guide for an evening walk of 1h 30mn to see some night active lemurs, lizards and geckos. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight

Morning walk at the forest with the local guide to discover mainly the two species of diurnal lemurs (verraux’Sifaka and the brown lemur, as well as many other wildlife. Lunch then drive to Morondava in the afternoon, visit of the lover’s baobab before continuing until the  baobab Alley to wait for the sunset. Check in, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Morning drive to Belo sur mer to the South. The journey will be through an adventurous road with some crossings on rivers without bridges, sands, bushes. Arrival around midday, hotel check-in; lunch and afternoon walk in the fishermen’s village to see their daily occupations. We may also see some men working on boat constructions. Dinner and overnight.

Leave the small village of fisherman and back to the dirt road to reach the village of Manja. The whole drive takes about 5 hours. We go through the Salines, baobabs, spiny bushes and trees, small villages. Picnic lunch en route. Arrival in the afternoon, installation at the hotel. Possibility to have a short walk around. Diner and overnight.

Still on the off road adventure to get to Andavadoaka. After few hours of drive, cross the Mangoky river on a ferry boat. Then drive on broken tar until the town of Morombe. The last part of the road is more enjoyable with amazing shape of baobabs and the spectacular spiny forest of the South West. Check in on arrival. Dinner and overnight.

Morning drive to Salary, still on the coast with nice views on idyllic beaches and dunes. Reach Salary, a small fisherman village looking onto a blue sea and white sands. Lunch and afternoon at leisure on the beach. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Full day at leisure. The hotel proposes some activities such as: whale watching, diving, fishing, kite surfing or a tour to the fisherman village see the local people’s daily routine. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Still on the coastal road until Ifaty through sands and rocks. The landscape changes from blue sea to dusty bushes and trees. Check-in on arrival. End of the dirt road. Afternoon visit of to Reniala reserve to see more species of Baobab and to learn different species of plants endemic to the South West and their great adaptation. With a bit of chance, you may see some rare birds. Dinner and overnight.

Get on board of a local sailing pirogue for a snorkeling at a protected reserve called “Massif des Roses”. About half an hour from the seaside, this reserve is part of the 450 km coral reef in the West. This is a chance to enjoy the beautiful view of the corals and colorful fishes. Back to the main land. Free afternoon. Diner and overnight at the hotel.

Morning dedicated to a drive from Ifaty to Ranohira. Cross Toliary city first then Zombitse forest and later some villages of sapphire miners before arriving in Ranohira. Check in at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure before having an excursion to the “Window of Isalo” for sunset pictures. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day hike into the Isalo National Park that extends over 81,540 hectares. This ruiniform massif is a Jurassic sandstone mountain. Heavily eroded, only the best part of it witnessed by the sandy valleys and canyons have remained: a terrific show. Picnic lunch in the Park while hiking. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Full day drive to Ranofana through the largest plateau of Ihorombe and the town of Ihosy. Stop at Anja Community Reserve for 1h 30m walk to spot the ring tailed lemurs, some chameleons and the surrounding farmland. Continue until the town of Ambalavao where we have lunch. After lunch, continue to Ranomafana. Check in on arrival, dinner and overnight.

Explore Ranomafana National Park with the local guide. Hiking in the park to see some species of diurnal lemurs, reptiles, birds and various plants. Back to the hotel for lunch, then afternoon visit of the village. Evening walk along the road to spot some more wildlife (mouse lemur, chameleons, frogs…) for about 1h 30m. Dinner and overnight.

Drive to Antsirabe along the beautiful landscape of the Betsileo people. Stop at Ambositra to visit the art and craft markets where we can find all Malagasy arts made out of wood: totems, and many other carvings. Arrival at Antsirabe; check in at the hotel. Afternoon free and possibility to have a short visit of the city. Dinner and overnight.

Morning departure from Antsirabe to Andasibe. Along the way, we can stop at some crafts shops to view the products of local talented people. Lunch break in Antananarivo. Continue to the east in the afternoon. Stop at “Madagascar Exotic Park” to see several genera of reptiles. Arrival in Andasibe late in the afternoon, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Drive to Andasibe Mantadia National Park at about 1h from the village. 4h walk gives us the opportunity to meet endemic species like rare birds, lemurs and reptiles… Picnic lunch. Back to the hotel, then afternoon visit at Vakona’s lemur Island. Later, night walk in search of nocturnal species of lemurs, chameleons, frogs… Dinner and overnight.

Morning visit at Analamazaotra National Park, in search of more species of lemurs, especially the biggest one called the Indri indri. This is the remaining biggest living lemur in the world. Lunch, then afternoon walk in the village to see the village of Andasibe and its local market. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Leave Andasibe after breakfast to head back to Antananarivo. Lunch on arrival. After lunch, we will have a tour around the city to visit some markets and historical places like the Queen’s Palace where you can have a panoramic view of the City. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer to the airport to take the international flight. If time allows, possibility to do shopping  at the souvenir market. End of the program.
